Hridayam is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language upcoming romance film written and directed by Binith Srinivasan. It was co-produced by Visakha Subramaniam Maryland Cinemas and Nobel laureate Thomas Big Bang Entertainment. The film stars Pranab Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the lyrics and background of the film.

Hridayam Movie Short Story

Arun Nilakandan, a teenager from Kerala, joined Casey Tech, a popular engineering college in Chennai, to graduate. He fell in love at first sight with the college lover Darshan. They get close after Arun gets angry with his seniors, but some quarrels and incidents put the seniors on hold and they start dating.

Arun goes to meet his online girlfriend with his friend Anthony and is attracted to his coworker. She lies to him, says she is unmarried and they are eager to kiss but the moral police stop them.

Guilt-ridden Arun confesses to Darshan, who violently leaves the relationship. In the heat of their argument, they challenge each other that their other romantic partners will be better than each other.

After the breakup, disaster came down in Arun's life. He angered the juniors in his second year and became addicted to alcohol. He starts a relationship with Maya but does not make himself happy. Meanwhile, Darshana started dating a woman named Kedar. He warns the philosopher but he ignores it as a sign of jealousy.
